The band was formed in 1993 after fan John Hemmingham took an old bugle to a match at Everton and they have since accompanied the England team.
Spokesman Steve Holmes told Sky Sports: "We are not banned but the chairman cut the numbers from 15 to five. We don't think we are doing ourselves justice at home so have decided to call it a day."
"We spoke to the chairman and basically got told to accept it."
Holmes confirmed the band would continue to appear at away matches.
