Trevor Hicks, the former Hillsborough Family Support Group (HFSG) chairman, and his ex-wife Jenni, say they have accepted The Sun's apology in relation to their coverage of the Hillsborough disaster.
The pair - who lost daughters Sarah (15) and Vicki (19) in the tragedy - were speaking on a phone-in on BBC Radio Merseyside following last night's 'The Sun says sorry...' documentary which was aired on BBC2. But although they accept the apology they stressed that they will not forgive those responsible.
Ms Hicks said: "I don't want to cause any offence by my views or my opinions but I do accept Graham Dudman's (The Sun's managing editor) and Rebekah Wade's (Sun editor) apology on this.
"I know it's a very, very sensitive subject in Liverpool and I can understand why, the things that were said at the time were absolutely horrific. However, if the Sun can do what Graham Dudman's saying they will do and campaign for us, perhaps it's time to move things on."
However, Phil Hammond, the current chairman of the Hillsborough Family Support Group, says the majority of its members are not prepared to accept an apology.
He said: "It seemed like The Sun just wanted us to accept the apology and forget about it and we won't ever forget. It wasn't Graham Dudman but Kelvin MacKenzie, the editor at the time, who let the paper go out like that. I want him to apologise - I think people should boycott his Talk Sport radio station."
The Hillsborough Family Support Group is officially recognised by Liverpool Football Club and is not to be confused with the Hillsborough Justice Campaign (HJC). There's a lot of politics surrounding both groups which is probably best left for the discussion forums.
